I just fall in love the first time I listened to it, it's the best cd ever of all mariah cd's, and after so many years still have the same cd and still listen to it without skeeping songs. It's a great cd that diserved more publicity... EC from Salt Lake City, Ut.

Of all the great female singers we have today Mariah´s Music Box is truly a classic and her voice is now a legend. 12 years ago of the age of 23 Mariah released Music Box a ballad heavy album with popsongs in between this album has sold to date $30 million copies worldwide more than any other Album Mariah has ever made. Mariah´s voice is a godsent she is a white girl with a voice of a black woman because her father Alfred Roy was black african-american so Mariah is mixed and she got this big soprano voice every girl dreams of and her vocalrange is barely human she has a 7 octaves range and she is able to hit the high#F note in full voice and that is rare the only artist i know who can reach that note is Celine Dion and some operasingers i think. But Miss Mariah is a one of her kind she can circle around and has no nasal sound like Celine but sometimes Mariah stretch out her voice that it sounds like screaming but she always carry´s through the big notes and this album proof all that. 1.Dreamlover 3.54 a sweet popsong that brings out the summertime in us also Mariah´s 6th number#1 hit single. 2.Hero 4.18 I love this song so much it´s one of the Best songs off the album and Mariah´s signature song ever also another no#1 single. 3.Anytime You Need A Friend 4.27 This song is so great i love it it´s about true friendship. 4.Music Box 4.56 a slow tempoballad were she sings on her lowernotes it´s beautiful. 5.Now That I Know 4.18 a popsong it´s fun and Mariah brings out the best in her. 6.Never Forget You 3.45 a sad ballad about lost love and is one of my favorits on this album. 7.Without You 3.34 This song is my ALL TIME FAVORIT MARIAH SONG WOW her voice is just incredible and she hits the high#F note several times and no other female singer can beat her vocalabilties in this awesome song that Harry Nilsen sang in the 70´s this song has become a Mariah classic that she made her own with longtime collaborator Walter Afanasieff but he c-wrote-co produced most of the songs on this amazing album(1,2,3,4,7,8,10 and the bonustrack). 8.Just To Hold You Once Again 4.00 i love this song it´s so beautiful. 9.I´Ve Been Thinking About You 4.48 another popsong that belongs here Mariah is just amazing. 10.All i´ve Ever Wanted 3.52 a powerful ballad like Without You and Hero another favorit of mine and just amazing. 11.The bonustrack here is about a guy who cheats on his girl called Everything Fades Away 5.27 it´s a wonderful song to end this amazing album Cory Rooney sings in the chorus he is now a bigtime producer and has worket with Jennifer lopez,(Mariah Butterfly)Marc Anthony among dozen others.This album has become a Classic and is Mariah´s best studiorecording album ever made it is a must have i recommed this album to every one out there a true fans of True singers.
