The formula remains the same: lush laid-back acid jazz with a twist of deep house and hip-hop to create a disc-long excursion that is immediately accessible for home listening, relaxation, or the early hours of a big night out. Contributions from downtempo anchors DJ Spinna and J. Boogie start things off right, and inclusions from Jurassic 5's Nu Mark and hip-hop legend Pete Rock spice things up nicely. August 18, 2005: For those of you who love hip-hop and jazz, you are going to love DJ Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz series. His latest album, Mushroom Jazz 5 is a continuous mixtape made of both vocal, and mostly instrumental upbeat dance beats with a hip and mellow jazzy feel that will please both hip-hop and jazz lovers. This album is great for party's and is a CD you will be able to listen to over and over again.

April 23, 2005: This CD has some awesome jazz beats with some grooving lyrics and flow-a-ble instrumentals. Saw this at the store, figure I check it out. It was a great buy, I know my house parties will dig it to. Plus check out the title of the album (Shrooms). Haha, need I say more?
