About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

DJ Mark Farina handles the mixing on Mushroom Jazz, Vol. 2, a collection of mellow acid jazz tracks by various artists that actually holds together quite well. Farina's added samples help give a sense of unity to the whole album, and his house influences add a bit of variety. Steve Huey, All Music Guide

August 22, 2000: This is one of the hottest compilation joints of acid jazz that I have yet to hear! All of the tracks are slow to mid-tempo head nodders and guaranteed to satisfy. I also have Volume 1 and I must say that, although it?s dope, Volume 2 is the hotter of the two, hands down. If you?re just looking to cool out and puff one with the lights turned low, vol. 2 is the pick for you. I hope that Volume 3 manages to take it to the next level, cuz this joint is one of my favorites to date. I have a lot of CD?s and this one is in CONSTANT rotation?
