    The intense tenor saxophonist George Adams teams up with trumpeter Marvin "Hannibal" Peterson, guitarist John Schofield and an alert rhythm section (pianist Ron Burton, bassist Walter Schmocker and drummer Allen Nelson) during this 1984 concert to explore five originals by the three principals, plus the standard "Don't Take Your Love From Me." The music has its strong moments, although nothing all that memorable occurs, except perhaps for Adams' eccentric vocal on "I Could Really Go for You." Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
