October 09, 2008: Kenny Burrell's mastery of his instrument is so total that this album is really an investigation of guitar as living organism. The sound is mind-blowingly seductive, the grooves magnetic and the technical precision astounding. One of the greatest jazz-blues guitar records of all time.
