With Microscopic View of a Telescopic Realm, Tourniquet attempt to bring their message to a wider, more secular audience, in addition to their devoted following among fans of Christian heavy metal. Luckily, the band members are inventive enough musicians to make the record worth a listen even for the unconverted; although their primary focus is on melodic, neo-classical metal, there are also ample doses of more complicated progressive metal, as well as chaotic thrash riffing. April 26, 2001: Tomb of gorgonzola is more fitting, this album stinks! Why did Metal Blade ever pick these guys up? Musically, the band is fairly decent but when it comes to the cheesy songwriting and lame vocals it all falls through the bottom.

November 08, 2000: I heard ''The Tomb of Gilgamesh'' and ''Martyrs Pose'' and a couple others on the radio. These songs are awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recomend Tourniquet to any metal-loving music fan. Keep listening. It'll become better each album......
