About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Michael Flatley is one of the top dancers and choreographers in modern performing arts. Lord of the Dance rivals Bill Whelan's Riverdance as one of the top dance phenomena of the '90s. Feet of Flames is also an important dance event of that decade. It matches Flatley with Ronan Hardiman again. As an event, it loses much in the translation to CD, but the music is beautiful and diverse. Hardiman covers many different styles and genres, including Celtic, new age, orchestral, contemporary vocal, and atmospheric ambient. It is an entertaining listen but more worthy of a visual experience. The disc will appeal to fans of the aforementioned discs by Flatley & Hardiman and by Whelan. ~ Jim Brenholts, All Music Guide All Music Guide

August 09, 2009: Feet of Flames is my all-time favorite Michael Flatley perfomance. I was 8 years old when I first saw him and was instantly put under his Irish spell. Whenever I listen to the CD I can actually see the performances the music goes with. I recommend this to any Michael or Irish music fan.

January 08, 2004: Not as good, overall, as Lord of the Dance, but track 12 is AMAZING!!! It's practically worth buying the CD just for that song!
