July 16, 2005: When This album was released in 1990 i was 16 years old and Mariah blowed my mind away her incredible voice captured me forever and today after stunning 16 number#1 hits and a new album The Emancipation Of Mimi my diva is back to her self. I love her debut album it´s the best with Emotions, Music box,Merry Christmas and Daydream, she released Butterfly in 1997 and after that her career began going towards after devorsing Thomas mottola the former president of sony. 3 albums since Butterfly has not helped her career until now and it´s one of her finest works. Mariah has incredible vocalrange of 7 octaves that will send chills down your spine and this album that is now 15 years old still sounds great i recommend all new fans to buy this album because she was at her best then and today she will capture new audience with amazing songs like We Belong Together her 16 no#1 hit and 7 weeks on the billboard top 100 charts, shake It Off and A ballads that blow you away. My favorit songs on this amazing album are. Someday, Vision Of Love, Love Takes Time, I Don´t Wanna Cry, All In Your Mind, There´s got To Be Away, Alone In Love, Vanishing, Prisoner, You Need me and the last song send From Up Above all the songs are great and Mariah works with popheavies like Ric Wake(Celine dion,Anastacia,Taylor Dayne) Narada Michael Walden(Whitney Houston) and longtime partner to be Walter Afanasieff(Celine Dion,Barbra Streisand,KennyG,Michael Bolton,Lara Fabian,Josh Groban,Clay Aiken and many more)I recommend this album to all fans of Mariah and Celine.
