August 03, 2008: The operatic scenes, arias and cabalettas presented here are wonderful, and serve as a good introduction to the art of Callas. There is a vast selection from her studio recordings of recitals and complete operas, as well as live material. The sound is great, and you get inraptured by that amazing voice of hers. The amazing variety of musical styles manages to ilustrate her versatility as an artist, and the recordings range from the start to almost the end of her carreer, so you are able to appreciate changes in her interpretation and how she grew as an artist. It is a good package, overall, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is corious about jut who was Maria Callas. One warning though, it might turn you into an avid fan!!
