This cd is wonderful! My friend, whose hobby is collecting cd's, had added this to her collection the last time I saw her, and, as we had a long trip ahead of us, I listened to this one during the last (most boring) leg. It was just excellent!! I was never once bored and was completely caught up in the story! Then, when "The Impossible Dream" came on I was surprised. I'd never known that it was a Broadway song (and I'm a huge Broadway fan) so that was cool. Mandy Pitinkin was so good too! He played Sancho and I had a terrible time recognizing him. He did a marvelous job portraying a loyal (sometimes confused) compatriot of the slightly crazed Don Quixote. (Placido Domingo plays Quixote and I truly needn't say anything about him! His excellent reputation precedes him!) This isn't the style in which he usually sings (which is why I had a hard time recognizing him) but he did a superb job!! Hats off to him, and to this cd!
