July 29, 2001: Many people do not know that Karyn is a country singer, but she is. Her smashing hit: ''I'd Rather Be Alone'' is truly remarkable. It tells a story about a woman who is not going to be a fool for love and would rather be alone than be unhappy. I think that it is good to see that she is letting the world know that she would rather lose her man than be unhappy and have her heart broken.

February 16, 2000: Karyn I just reciently bought 2 of your cd's which are...Make him do right which I thought was 1 of the greatest LP's of ALL TIME,and Ritual of love which I also thought was great too.So now i just ordered your self-title debut and i hope thats as enjoyableas all your other hitz.
