May 03, 2001: There are a lot of things that my 16 year old daughter and I like about Texas. The people are friendly, the winters are mild, there is no state income tax--and this is the home of the musical group Lonestar. I am 41 and she is 16; I have taught college and she is in high school; I pay the allowance and she has to work for it--but there are other things we both have in common. We both love to ride and jump horses, to swim when it is hot, and to listen to talented people sing country music. Lonestar's album indicates their range in tempo and shows off their singing and instrumental talents. Their new single, ALREADY THERE, is climbing the Country Music Charts as of May 2001, and my daughter and I listen for it on the radio since it isn't currently out on CD. We look forward to more from a group that has the ability--and the fan support--to go far!

May 07, 2000: I have over 75 CD's and this is easily one of my favorites. It is the perfect blend of uptempo songs like NO NEWS and RUNNIN' AWAY WITH MY Heart, moderate tempo songs like WHEN COWBOYS DIDN'T DANCE, and slower songs like TEQUILLA TALKIN'
