About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

The North American version of Italian superstar Zucchero's live Italian retrospective CD/DVD package was released in Canada nearly a year after the European version in drastically reduced form. Whereas the original version was a massive set that contained two compact discs and two DVDs, the Universal Canada package contains one disc in each format. The CD benefits because it contains the first disc in its entirety and about half of the second -- the bigger hits off disc two. The DVD follows suit with even more material, making it roughly the equivalent of the first DVD, with some stellar concert footage from the second as well. While hardcore Zucchero fans will have plunked down the cash in order to get the whole enchilada, let's face it, there aren't as many Zucchero-philes in the States (where it isn't being released at all) and Canada. That said, this collection, which is impeccably recorded and filmed, is an excellent introduction to the lush adventure of the man's music, from its bluesy roots to its more lavish pop sojourns in the recent past. October 26, 2009: If you have and enjoy "Zuccero and Co" you will love this. Yes it is a full length concert. But, who wants a concert to end if it is a good one?

I Also Recommend: Zucchero & Co. [Australia 18 Tracks].
