It is harvest time with Bartoli now. Never has her art been richer and more abundant in its yield, and never have the fruits been so glowingly displayed on record.... With the live atmosphere of the concert-hall and the sense of freedom around the voice, this is surely the most faithful and revealing of all Bartoli’s records to date. Gramophone

October 01, 2001: I don't know that I would ever buy this CD but I got it from the library and found it pleasant to listen to. My only problem was that it is a very long CD and I would sooner get the concert video for this CD and just watch it - it never seems so long when there is something to watch. I particularly like track 5, in which Cecilia does some amazing vocal maneouvres. Track 20 is also nice, and there were other pretty ones as well, but they all just blend together in my mind like a nice memory of a lovely Italian opera repertoire. She is a very good singer, and I recommend her for that reason. She is neither harsh nor trilly, but quite mellow actually - which is a plus in my mind.
