This album marked the return of Phil Collins. After he left Genesis to focus more on his solo career, he then was replaced by Ray Wilson for the Calling All Stations album and tour, but after that had been completed, Genesis had split up. Phil Collins continued with his solo career, for example completing Tarzan, which features the hit "You'll Be In My Heart", then doing the next soundtrack for Disney, Brother Bear with composer Mark Mancina. Meanwhile, Tony Banks had just completed his first classical work titled "Seven: A Suite for Orchestra", which featured him on piano, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Mike Dixon. After the hiatus, Genesis in fact had been reunited for the VH1 Honors, and then embarked on a World Tour, first in Europe which resulted the recording of this album, and the first live album with Phil Collins, since finishing the previous live album, which was the last for Phil Collins, and the album is titled, The Way We Walk. This album is great from start to finish, and Genesis fans, especially Genesis with Phil Collins fans will definately enjoy this.
