September 12, 2009: This is early Linda Ronstadt, much more country-oriented. That doesn't stop this CD from being a great one. When you have songs from writers like Johnny Cash and Neil Young--among others--you've got winners. I've been a Ronstadt fan for decades, but this early country material still sounds great after all these years. Ms. Ronstadt helped get me into the country-rock genre--Poco, Pure Prairie League, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, etc.--and I am grateful. Try this classic, you'll like it!
