About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Red Car Wire's second EP is a slick studio effort, one that places as much emphasis on polished production as the performances themselves. That's a smart tactic, to be sure, as the actual songwriting on Let's Never Get Older is tolerable at best, concentrating on a mix of standard hooks and bratty bravado that wears thin after the first two tracks. The Dallas natives sound energized and spunky on songs like "So Far," but they also fall prey to the worst trappings of 21st century pop/punk: singing with a fake British accent, relying on studio flourishes to bolster lackluster songs, and reprising the same high school-centric lyrics that similar bands have flaunted for years. Such young, stylized groups often find dedicated audiences, and Red Car Wire may very well make a name for themselves amidst their Warped Tour peers. Andrew Leahey, All Music Guide
