Like its predecessor, Latin Oldies, Vol. 2 is a 14-track collection of Latin rock, pop and funk tracks from the '60s and '70s, but this time, the collection doesn't just feature Latin artists, it also showcases musicians like James Brown, Brenton Wood, Mary Wells, Eric Burdon, the Champs and the Stories -- in other words, musicians of all different races. As a result, Vol. 2 is even more disjointed than its predecessor, but with songs like "Try Me," "Brother Louie," "Donna," "So," "Wooly Bully" and "Tequila," it's still an entertaining listen.
