May 25, 2008: I discovered Maya Azucena when she was playing at The Blue Note in NY in May 2008. What a fabulous artist! Her music is vibrant and upbeat. She goes from Rythm & Blues, to Soul, to Jazz, and she even sang rap with a rapper! She is great on stage, and I hope she tours one day in Europe: I would love to listen to her again, live.
