Editorial Reviews

The double-disc Look What I Did! was simply too much for anyone but the dedicated Joe Walsh fan, which makes the release of the 15-song, single-disc Joe Walsh's Greatest Hits: Little Did He Know so welcome. Drawing highlights from his solo career and his early records with the James Gang, Greatest Hits contains almost every song that most fans would want -- "Funk #49," "Rocky Mountain Way," "Life's Been Good," "Meadows," "Turn to Stone," "All Night Long," "A Life of Illusion" and "Ordinary Average Guy." In other words, it's more definitive than Look What I Did!, even if it's shorter. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide

August 22, 2009: This is a very well done single CD of Joe Walsh's work with The James Gang and his solo hits. Being only 15 songs long it is a tight concise set of his best work. Thankfully they did NOT include any of his work with the Eagles as they (properly) assumed that anyone looking at a Joe Walsh hits CD probably already has a decent Eagles collection. This CD really shows just how good The James Gang was, how terrific Joe is as a musician, and just how much fun you can have with Rock N Roll. This is a very satisfying collection.

A great showcase CD from one of The Eagles.by Anonymous

August 11, 2008: This Greatest Hits album showcases Joe Walsh's entire solo career, and previous bands before becoming a member of The Eagles, which in fact, the song &quot Help Me Thru The Night&quot features his Eagle band mates, Don Henley, Glen Frey, and Don Felder, and then after that song was completed, he joins the band with his debut as an Eagle with Hotel California, and whenever The Eagles perform live, when Joe Walsh takes his turn at singing his solo stuff, he would frequently would sing &quot Life's Been Good&quot and &quot Rocky Mountain Way&quot . In some of The Eagles' other live performances he would perform &quot All Night Long&quot , and &quot Ordinary Average Guy&quot , which all of those songs appear on this album as studio recordings with Joe Walsh by himself, and a back up band. Fans of The Eagles and Joe Walsh would certainly love this album from start to finish, because Joe Walsh is my favorite Eagle.
