    March 10, 2010: Philippe Jaroussky is truly and exceptional artist. I've never heard another countertenor who has matched the crystal clear vocal quality as Phillippe's. There is no sound of vocal strain - perhaps this is how the great castratis of the 18th century truly sounded. This tonality is sweet and radiant. You can hear the emotion Philippe injects into each note. With that said, he has poignant, lyrical expressiveness. This CD is a definite keeper and I'm so glad to have it in my library.
