October 09, 2008: The propulsive singles "My Jamaican Guy" and "Slave to the Rhythm" introduced this gender-bending beauty to the music scene. Decades later there is still no female artist as avant garde as Grace Jones in terms of her fashion statements, musical deliveray, and fondness for avant garde performance theatrics. Ms. Jones is fierce, I tell you. Fierce!
