April 26, 2009: Vienna Teng continues to surprise me with the level at which she keeps her performance. She is a talented musician, and her singing reaches down inside of you, grabs ahold of you and doesn't let go. The topics on which she chooses to sing are often ones which others seem not to bother with, but she tackles them with beauty, originality, simplicity and a depth of feeling which just draw you in. This album is at least as good as Warm Strangers (that one is hard to beat), while not giving us just more of the same. Her range of styles and the wonderful musicality of Inland Territory make it a new pleasure to the ears and the heart.
I saw Vienna Teng in person in Dallas a couple of months ago. If you get the opportunity to see and hear her, don't miss it. As great as she is on her albums, she is even better in person. She tends to perform in small, intimate settings which make the experience even more enjoyable.I Also Recommend: Sara Watkins, Warm Strangers, Modern Romance, Impossible Dream.

April 14, 2009: I am a music teacher and choir director. I hear A LOT of music. This music and these words are so refreshing and beautiful. I especially like "The Last Snowfall" and "Grandmother Song". Do your ears, mind, and soul a favor and BUY THIS CD!
