About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

The Temptations moved into world of jazzy pre-rock pop, and showed that great singers can handle anything. While many soul fans were surprised that they issued an album with versions of "Ol' Man River," "Somewhere," and "Taste of Honey," they were hooked once they heard it. This recording was another indication of how much Berry Gordy wanted to show mainstream audiences that Motown acts were versatile. Ron Wynn, All Music Guide

April 05, 2008: The memories I have of these great hits are just phenomenal. They were so enlightening during my teen and pre-teen years. They were sung with so much feeling. How I would love to hear them again! These were times when singers dressed and entertained with all they had. They sang as though they trully enjoyed it, and looked like they loved it also.
