February 15, 2009: I loved this CD. If you've ever seen Michael Cavanaugh in Movin' Out, you'll love hearing him here. He of course does some Billy Joel songs while putting his own unique spin on them. If you heard him do She's Got a Way in Movin' Out, his version here is even more beautiful. He does an amazing job making these cover songs sound like his own. You can tell he had fun on the song Roll 'em Pete. He has some of his own original songs here too, which are an amazing way to hear his own songwriting style. Michael Cavanaugh is extremely talented musician, singer and songwriter. I love all the songs on here. I highly recommend this CD to everyone who has either seen him in the broadway show Movin' Out where he sang over 20 Billy Joel songs or have seen him perform his own shows. You won't be disappointed.
