Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle was plucked from obscurity when she sang "I Dreamed A Dream" from the musical Les Miserables on TV's Britain's Got Talent earlier this year. The clip of her performance is one of YouTube's most watched videos, viewed by more than 300 million people.

The 48-year-old church volunteer was born and raised in Blackburn, Scotland and lives at home with her cat Pebbles. Susan has been singing since she was 12 years old and, before her appearance on Britain's Got Talent, regularly attended her local church to help out however she could. Needless to say, Susan's life has changed dramatically since the famed performance seen and heard around the world!

Her debut album, I Dreamed a Dream, features the stirring Les Miserables song that launched her meteoric career, as well as other pop favorites. From the Label

December 06, 2009: Don't misunderstand, Susan Boyle's voice is absolutely beautiful. When she performed on BGT she was exhilarating and passionate about her selection. AND IT SHOWED!!! This album consists of slowed versions of other artists songs and are agonizing to listen too. Boring, down beat,and dragged on. Work with what you have people!! This woman's voice is amazing!!! Give her something more classic and beautiful,with a full orchestra behind her!! We would LOVE to have a Christmas Album sung by Susan. Silent Night was the only tune on the current album we enjoyed.

She needs to sing more upbeat selections that lifts people up, not make them take a nap. Susan we love your voice,and your "I Dreamed a Dream" rendition from BGT. Maybe you should hire the person who chose that song,to select the material for your next album. We'll be waiting! XO

December 05, 2009: Susan Boyle's first album does not disappoint. There is something in it for everyone and even a little Christmas thrown in, which I could have lived without.

She has a beautiful voice and the arrangements are pleasing and a good selection for the most part. This varied album highlights her talent.

I'm still thrilled with her blossoming career. She deserves it and it is too bad she wasn't discovered sooner.
