February 14, 2001: I've always been a broadway freak since I was younger. I'm now going through an obsession with Superstar since I got this CD at Christmas. I always cry when Steve Balsamo sings ''I Only Want to Say'', it's that moving! Zubin Varla is just amazing. He makes Judas the character you love to hate. Joanna Ampil gives Mary gentle personality that is very soothing to listen to. The only part of this CD that was disappointing was Alice Cooper's version of King Herod...sorry, he just sounded too straight! Still this is a definate must-have for all JCS fans!
