Following their top-selling Ellis Island, a tribute to the Irish immigrant experience in America, and the Christmas-themed We Three Kings, the Irish Tenors look to their Heritage on this collection of familiar songs. Anthony Kearns, Finbar Wright, and Ronan Tynan lend their potent voices to such favorites as "Danny Boy," "I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen," and "Song for Ireland," backed by the great London Symphony Orchestra and capped with a rousing "God Bless America." It's a stirring Emerald-Isle program that fans of this popular trio won't want to miss.

With Ronan Tynan's exposure during the Red Sox/Yankees battle for the American League East 2004 title the Irish Tenors offer a two-minute-and-forty-two-second rendition of "God Bless America" as the bonus track on this 16-song collection entitled Heritage, though a shorter version closed out their 2001 release, Ellis Island. The trio are quite spirited here, taking on Celine Dion's Titanic film theme, "My Heart Will Go On," "I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen" and other favorites, and giving their audience exactly what is expected of them. Though six of the titles have appeared on previous recordings, "Danny Boy" on Ellis Island, "Red Is the Rose" on Live in Belfast, just to name a couple, the fifty-five-minutes-plus will satisfy the trio's fans as Anthony Kearns, Finbar Wright and Tynan work their voices into the Arnie Roth conducted the London Symphony Orchestra. Recorded on location at the London Symphony Orchestra St. Luke's Centre in London, the material was taped by Abbey Road Studios Mobile. The "Dublin Medley" has exceptional charm, a combination of "Dublin Can Be Heaven" and "Rocky Road to Dublin" which contains few surprises, but will perpetually delight. Joe Viglione
