Meg & Dia widen their sound -- and their audience's eyeballs -- with Here, Here and Here, an album that blends radio-ready pop/rock with emo flourishes and tongue twisting, sexually frank lyrics. "Your eyes are dusty dirt porn magazines," sings Dia Frampton. "I'll take your pants, you take my hair, and let's dance." In keeping with that sly come-on, Here, Here and Here doesn't shy away from much, be it the "skeletons in [Dia's] bed" or the anthemic grandeur provided by producer Howard Benson. He piles the music high with strings, Technicolor guitars, keyboards, and the occasional "Crimson and Clover"-styled tremolo effect, sometimes amplifying the songwriters' emotions to a hyperbolic extent. Such moments threaten to topple the band's foundation, which needs structural support rather than the sonic turrets, spires, and flying buttresses that Benson so gleefully loves. Meg & Dia are left to come up with a track list that warrants such epic treatment, and when the group does deliver, the result recalls a slightly edgier Eisley (complete with closely paralleled sibling harmonies) with Warped Tour appeal. As before, Meg & Dia pepper their strongest songs with clever turns of phrase, from the seafaring love ballad "One Sail" ("My love rests in a shipwreck with a compass in his head/I'll wait for him like a vulture waits for bodies") to "Agree to Disagree" ("There's something about giving up that sounds so bittersweet/I'll think I'll throw in the towel right now...but fold it nice and neat"). The latter song shuffles along with a country bounce, but it's also dominated by a honking harmonica, as if the listener wouldn't be able to make the connection without a clichéd, rootsy instrument at the forefront. Meg & Dia don't need that kind of help; rather, they need room to grow, to stretch their legs, to make their own mistakes without layers of aural fondant coating their sound. When left to their own devices, however, the girls still sound promising, which makes Here an enjoyable listen despite its flaws. Andrew Leahey, All Music Guide

June 06, 2009: I...this...WOW. This album was absolutely amazing! I don't think it could be any better than it is. The songs are so deep and pure and genuine. I was amazed that Meg and Dia wrote most of the songs themselves. That really tells you something about them. AND their voices are beautiful! They are so true with their music. Here, here, and here was really easy to relate to. Every song has a truly genuine meaning. I also liked how this CD has more backrounds and is more rock than the other. Meg and Dia did a waaaay-more-than-great-job! You can dance, scream, cry, whatever you want when you listen to Meg and Dia's songs! Here, here, and here is a great stress reliever. I loved all of their songs! This album blew me off my feet. Keep it up, please!

April 17, 2009: I've been waiting for this album since I heard Black Wedding over a year ago live. reading every blog posted by the sisters, I've finally got a chance to listen to it. Now when a group makes there sophmore album there is always a scare that it might not be that good. No way does Here, Here, and Here fall into that catagory. fans of Something Real will realize it is more upbeat in the indie feel that Something Real. nontheless both Meg & Dia's voices do well to add nessesary emotion to the songs. As I was listening to songs such as Agree to Dissagree I could almost feel what Meg was thinking at the time happy yet sad. They also take a political dive in the song Are there Giants to in the dance, that pans out with a nice beat and meaningful lyrics. Hug Me makes you want to get up and dance, and it was quite hard to reasist. The single Black Wedding is sure to hit the charts as one of the best songs in 2009. One thing that was improved upon between the two albums is the drummer, those of you who are familiar with his drumming will know that Something Real, does not show is talent to the best, but Here, Here, and Here really shows you just how great he is. They also make use of there newly acquired guitarist Carlo, by using is distinctive abilty of shredding. This album is great. Meg & Dia fans this is one you will want in your collection and newcomers don't pass a chance to get this CD by such a great group. I'm looking foward to seeing what Meg & Dia will deliever in the future. Prepare to be amazed
