Marty Robbins clearly felt great affinity for the music of Hawaii, and the 28 tracks on this collection contain some of his finest and most evocative singing. Although the venture wasn't commercially successful, and the music occasionally suffers the intrusion of schmaltzy Nashville production, Robbins performs beautifully, creating a breezy mood that marks one of pop music's better attempts at the genre. February 14, 2004: This is a great collection of Hawaiian songs that Marty Robbins did during his career. I was a child when I went with my dad to a friends house and they were playing a Hawaiian album done by Marty Robbins. I have been searching for years for that album and it is included along with another Hawaiian album in this collection. If you are a huge fan of the most versatile man of all time in country music then this is a must. All the songs are great and done in traditional style.
