This CD draws its material from six very different recording projects by the Chenille Sisters, a vocal trio consisting of the unrelated Cheryl Dawdy, Connie Huber, and Grace Morand. The singers are heard performing swing jazz on "Mama, I Wanna Make Rhythm" and "At the Codfish Ball" (with backing from pianist James Dapogny's band), but most of the other numbers selected for this sampler are actually in the folk-country field. Highlights of the latter include "Seduced," "Plastic Roses," and "Big Hair," and folk or country collectors will want to get this CD as an introduction to the vocalists' talents.
