Harlem Blues sounds exactly like how Satan & Adam would sound playing on a street corner -- it's raw and tough, with a surprisingly adventurous streak. Satan and Adam stick to a basic acoustic blues duo, but their rhythms and techniques occasionally stray into funkier, jazzier territory. And that sense of careening unpredictability is what makes Harlem Blues so entertaining -- they might be playing blues in a traditional style, but the end result is anything but traditional.
