Gregorian Chant, Christmas Chants is precisely what the title says, holiday-related chants performed by a variety of monks and choirs from abbeys around Europe. Most of these will probably not be familiar to the average listener, but the general message is pretty obvious. Those who have enjoyed these chant collections in the past may want to invest in the Christmas edition, but those not taken with the genre will not be swayed by this album.
