Greatest Hits of the 70's is a decent two-disc set highlighting 20 singles that made the pop charts throughout that decade. Along with tried and true radio classics by Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Jefferson Starship, and Hall & Oates are less than obvious tracks by Toby Beau, Stories, Jimmy Castor Bunch, and Five Stairsteps. These are the original recordings and, with the exception of the awful cover art, this compilation is recommended. Les Campbell, All Music Guide
