Editorial Reviews

Great Records of the Decade: 70's Hits Pop, Vol. 1 is a budget-line collection that features ten hits from the '70s, including Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life," the Bellamy Brothers' "Let Your Love Flow," Exile's "Kiss You All Over," the Four Seasons' "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)," Shaun Cassidy's "That's Rock & Roll," Wayne Newton's "Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast," and Sammy Davis, Jr.'s "The Candy Man." Although there's no particular rhyme or reason to why these particular songs were selected -- and the selection is fairly uneven -- the disc is an entertaining listen.
