With Good Acoustics, Firehouse attempted to cash in on the "unplugged" fad of the '90s by recording acoustic versions of hits like "Don't Treat Me Bad" and "When I Look into Your Eyes," throwing in three new songs and a cover of the Eagles' "Seven Bridges Road" for good measure. It's a competent set, but it offers no new revelations about the band or the songs, making it an album for completists only. Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
