With a flood of lounge-oriented electronica compilations, you could do much worse than Neurodisc's Global Lounge, Vol. 2, but despite some truly great moments there's something missing. With all the bossa nova-influenced music and numerous female vocalists, it definitely has a focus. Koop's breezy "Summer Sun" is sophisticated in structure and style, and BPM's "E Precisor Perdoar" feels like the sonic equivalent of a Pedro Almodóvar film. Stylish tracks by Les Exiles and Etro Anime are also worthwhile, but the likeminded filler makes the album tedious and the haphazard mixing doesn't help (the Koop track clumsily crashes into the set). With "Global" in the title, you'd also expect a little more variety than an excess of jazzy Latin-tinged tracks. David Jeffries, All Music Guide
