Red Radio Flyer is one of the better alternative country-rock acts to surface in the last few years, led by the songwriting duo of Janardana Ryan and Mike Jones. Together they craft an intriguing album, exploring the nostalgic lives of young adults and lovers. December 30, 2001: Red Radio ( Flyer ) - Gettin' Some Where is the best new CD out since the return of BLONDIE and speaking of Blondie ex-Red Radio Flyer member Paul Carbonara is now a full time member of BLONDIE . The songs are so fresh and crisp you can just take a bite out of the CD !!! The Story Of Angel is the best song ever written and the whole CD is so relaxing .... Red Radio ( Flyer's) sound is a mix between Chris Isaak , early Elvis Presley , Blondie and R.E.M. all mixed together . I would suggest this CD to any one at all who really loves great new and fresh music .... it is a must have and a real keeper . Ed Kary
