About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

One of Nashville's best-known songwriters shines on album number two. One can easily draw the conclusion that Rebecca Lynn Howard had many musical influences in her life because you can hear all of them throughout this gripping 12-track collection: country, bluegrass, gospel, and Top 40 pop. But it's the album's title track that could give Howard the breakout status she deserves. The chill-inducing "Forgive" is a masterpiece. But it's not alone, with songs like "It Didn't Look Like Alcohol," about a man who is down on his luck, and "It's My Job to Fall," about a tear. Loaded with diversity, freshness, and inspiration, Forgive will no doubt earn its place on one of the top spots on the charts. ~ Maria Konicki Dinoia, All Music Guide All Music Guide

July 10, 2003: In this album, Rebecca Lynn Howard really shows off her powerful voice through the different array of songs on the album. ‘It Didn’t Look Like Alcohol’ is sure to be a country hit and hopefully one of the upcoming singles. That song is such a great country ballad that it proves Rebecca’s sure talent not only as a singer but also as a writer. Out of the seven songs that she did pen, the title track ‘Forgive’ is one that has been climbing the country music charts. It definitely shows a lot of maturity from her first release. I think this album works hard to give people what they want. From great pop country tunes for the radio to her ballads that show off her voice Rebecca has raised the bar.

February 10, 2003: I have just recently seen Rebecca Lynn Howard in concert. She was great!!! All of her music is good. I really like the song "Forgive". I also saw Joe Nichols and Alan Jackson with her. They were great too!! My dad plays and sings covers. He is going to learn some of Jow Nichols' songs to sing.
