About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Nebraska's Bright Eyes are graduates from the Midwestern school of Britpop. With Fevers and Mirrors being their third full-length release, a strong adaptation of Radiohead, Blur, and Suede is conveniently wrapped up in a neat lo-fi package. But without completely ripping anyone off, Bright Eyes feature their own cadence of loose indie and shaky, emotional vocals. The results amount to a catchy collection of elaborate pop that's been perfectly captured on a nickel budget. Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide

February 09, 2006: This is one of the best albums that i have ever listened to. I have heard a couple of Bright Eyes songs before but after I listened to this album, I'm eager for more. The vocalist is amazing and the guitar playing is even better. This music is truly touching and unforgettable and Bright Eyes is truly talented!

October 08, 2003: Oberst, my hero, really does his best on this cd. This collection is much better, in my opinion, than Lifted or any of the other cds. The stand out tracks to me are Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh and Something Vague. These are 2 of the best songs ever created.
