About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Favorite Country Hits is a condensed, 18-track single disc of Floyd Cramer's mid-'90s double-disc set, which was only sold through television. On the album, Cramer runs through a number of country classics, including his trademark "Last Date." Though Cramer's talent hasn't diminished over the years, Favorite Country Hits is largely best used as easy listening background music, since it rarely hits any peaks or valleys -- it just is pleasant, low-key country-pop. August 01, 2009: WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I TOOK PIANO LESSONS FROM A LADY THAT HAD PERFORMED FOR FLOYD CRAMER USING HIS OWNE HITS.

SHE TAUGHT WITH FLOYD CRAMERS STYLE AND I WAS IN LOVE WITH IT.

FROM THEN ON I LONGED TO PLAY HIS STYLE, I RECENTLY DECIDED TO TRY AND FIND ALL OF HIS CD'S, I LOOKED EVERY WHERE WITH NO LUCK UNTILL I CHECKED WITH B&N. THEY HAVE ORDERED ME EVERY ONE THAT IS AVAILABLE, I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE THIS AND ALL THE OTHER FLOYED CRAMER CD'S.

IF YOU LOVE CRISP CLEAR PIANO, WITH A STYLE ALL IT'S OWN YOU WILL LOVE THIS CD ALSO.
