From their focused pop songs to their synchronized outfits, the members of Honor Society rarely shy away from creating a polished, mainstream-minded product. They move between upbeat numbers and textured ballads during Fashionably Late, an album that owes as much to Maroon 5 as the family-friendly teen pop of the Jonas Brothers. Since Honor Society rose to prominence after joining forces with the Jonas Brothers, whose lead singer even penned three songs for this album, it's appropriate that both bands chart a similar course. Fashionably Late was created with a slightly older audience in mind, yet the glossy sound makes room for everyone. Andrew Leahey, All Music Guide
