About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Although they were catching more flak from critics for an alleged obsession with socio-political commentary and quasi-mystical references, R&B audiences hadn't yet tired of Earth, Wind & Fire. While this album admittedly had less memorable material and was more dependent on what had become standard production and stock devices, it still landed plenty of hits on the charts... December 05, 2006: After nearly 26 years since the release of Faces, this album finally is getting the respect it deserves. The music industry during the time of it's release, did not give this album it's just due. Maurice and the boys were at the peak of their creativity. Every song on this album is a pure musical masterpeice, with string and horn arrangements, along with soulful-rock, jazz infused harmonies. This album causes me to get my car, find me a pretty woman, cruise LakeShore Drive, Stop at the beach, grab me a bottle of wine, and go Whooo!!!!! For anyone who don't know it now, get this album, and Bow and Pay Homage to the some of the greatest music inspired by the elements...
