Upon hearing Lewis' Even So, most listeners will find it impossible not to make Radiohead comparisons. The resemblance lies not only in lead singer Brett Tohlen's emotive falsetto, which sounds uncannily like Thom Yorke's, but also in the quartet's moody, textured, alt-rock soundscapes (especially in those places where the band uses a Rhodes piano). Although familiar sounding, Even So's downbeat, orchestrated indie rock is still performed with muscle and delicacy. Lewis' craftsmanship and conviction are commendable, but ultimately don't make up for the fact that the band's sound is mannered and derivative. ~ Andy Hinds, All Music Guide All Music Guide
