About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

While the pop/rock industrial genre seemed virtually dead from a mainstream perspective, many artists continued to hone their metallic/dance craft well into the 21st century. Led by musician Alex Moklebust, Europe's Zeromancer found enough success on their home continent to convince American goth/industrial indie Cleopatra to release Eurotrash in 2002. Few industrial artists have managed achieve the level of pop and power that Moklebust creates on this impressive disc since Trent Reznor first brought nihilistic dance music to a rock audience. There are a few plodding moments, but for the most part Zeromancer maintains a high songwriting and production standard throughout this 12-track collection. Highlights include "Need You Like a Drug," "Wannabe," and the cover of Real Life's '80s hit "Send Me an Angel." With a surprising number of downright catchy tunes, Eurotrash is one of the more notable industrial accomplishments of 2002. ~ Vincent Jeffries, All Music Guide All Music Guide

May 24, 2003: Zeromancer's "Eurotrash" album is an awesome 12 song ride of electro-synth industrial rock. Catchy hooks and memorable songs like "Dr. Online" and "Neo Geisha" give the listener a sense of empowerment and is uplifting while maintaining a heavy sound. This Norwegian-based group is one of my favorites, and comes highly recommended.

February 27, 2003: ok so i havent heard the entire cd but what can i say, what i have heard is AWSOME!!! i mean i normally dont like to listen to a song over and over again, but i can do that with songs like "dr online" and "raising hell" the sound is really great and it is in an all too small genre, i suggest you look into purchasing the cd if you can.
