Editorial Reviews

Dylan is a career-spanning 3-CD retrospective of Bob Dylan's music. Featuring all previously-released material, this 51-track box set serves as both a comprehensive introduction for new fans and an expansive overview for long-time devotees. This deluxe version of Dylan is housed in a cloth-covered box, and the CDs are presented in replica classic LP sleeves featuring iconic Dylan and Columbia imagery. Also included is a 40-page booklet with expanded liner notes and rare photographs, plus 10 limited-edition postcard lithograph prints. Barnes & Noble

May 16, 2009: You either like Dylan or not, think he's a genius or not, think he betrayed the folk movement when he went electric, but you can't ignore his enormous influence on music and culture. The collection in this box set is a superb introduction - and a well-chosen compilation for those who need no introduction to Dylan - to this artist's output. Audio remastering is exceptionally well done, and the packaging and documentation is first-rate. Columbia Legacy did it right with this one.
