About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Michael Kamen's enchanting score from DON JUAN DEMARCO, a low-key and infectious romantic comedy featuring Marlon Brando and Johnny Depp, makes great use of broadly romantic themes that incorporate Latin textures and memorable solos from classical guitarist Julian Bream. And for once, the movie's seemingly requisite pop song -- in this case, Bryan Adams's "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" -- actually works, as Kamen utilizes the song's main melody throughout the score and even includes a Spanish vocal version of Adams's hit. Throw in fun quotes from Bizet and other classical composers and DON JUAN DEMARCO is pure listening pleasure. Andy Dursin, Barnes & Noble

February 19, 2008: The talented Nydia Rojas sings on this cd on the song "Has Amado Una Mujer De Veras?", that's the Spanish version of "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman". She doesn't sing the song alone, she is accompanied by Michael Kamen and Jose Hernandez. I think if she did sing it alone, the woman would have completely dominated the entire song!!!! The song is beautiful and her voice is very lovely, as always. Nydia Rojas always does a great job in bringing to life any song she is in. Nydia Rojas, YOU ROCK GIRL!!!!! If you enjoyed this music then I know you will enjoy her music. You should also treat yourself to her music, she has four CD's out, the titles are: 1.)Nydia Rojas (1996) 2.)Florecer (1997) 3.)Si Me Conocieras (1999) 4.)Nydia (2001)
