About this Artist

Editorial Reviews

Do You Still Love Me?: The Best of Meli'sa Morgan brings together most of the hit singles and key album tracks from her mid- to late-'80s work, including "If You Can Do It: I Can Do It Too!," "Love Changes," "Do You Still Love Me?," and "Do Me Baby." For the most part, the collection focuses on the kind of smooth urban ballads with which Morgan made her name, including "Heart Breaking Decision," "Here Comes the Night," "I'll Love No More," and "Lady in Me," although the harder-edged, new jack swing-inspired "Think It Over" and the up-tempo, poppy "Can You Give Me What I Want" and "So Long, Goodbye" provide a bit of stylistic diversity. Despite some rather tinny synth sounds and dated production touches here and there, Meli'sa Morgan's work has aged pretty well, and Do You Still Love Me? offers a fairly comprehensive look at the peak period of her career. July 21, 2002: Me'lisa Morgan is a captivating singer and she utilizes her vocal gifts very well. The production on many of the tracks is typical of mid 80's R&B music, but the numerous standouts such as ''Fool's Paradise, Do Me, Baby and Love Changes'' not to mention others are very well written and well delivered, by this singer who pulls tricks from her many hats.
