October 01, 2010: I used this for my children when they were young and continue to use it as an early childhood educator. I have discovered that some "lullaby" collections contain selections that, while enjoyable, are not always so relaxing; they often feature some "energizing" numbers. This collection is wonderful and contains pieces that are generally familiar to children and adults. It is a pleasure to listen to. Of course, I can't guarantee that it will put your children to sleep, but I think it can help more than some other options.
