From the opening electronic beats of "Digi Rap" -- with lyrics such as, "The Digi-volution will not be stopped/Digimon roll/Digimon rock/Remember the Digi things I say/And Digi save the day" -- it's abundantly clear that this album is going to hold more appeal to the younger set than to their parents. Nevertheless, this collection of infectious pop songs holds strong appeal. Some of them -- including Smash Mouth's peppy teen anthem "All Star," Fatboy Slim's funky "Rockafeller Skank," and "One Week," the contagiously catchy Barenaked Ladies single -- have been blaring from the stereos of school kids for the better part of a year. The fun continues with Paul Gordon's kid-friendly "Hey Digimon," an unassuming rap set in a buoyant melody that will likely have kids bopping all over the house, and "The Impression That I Get," the Mighty Mighty Bosstones' ska-pop toe-tapper. Digimon is an upbeat, catchy pop set sure to make points with Pokemon fans and non-fans alike. Ayelet Prizant, Barnes & Noble
